1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to the user's device, where they are stored to be resent to those same sites on the next visit. Similar technologies (e.g. local storage, pixels) perform analogous functions. We use our own and third-party cookies to ensure the operation of the site and, subject to consent, for functional, analytics and marketing purposes.
2. Categories of cookies used
2.1 Technical and necessary cookies (without consent)
Essential for the correct operation of the site and to store your cookie choices and accessibility preferences. Their installation does not require consent (art. 122 Privacy Code).
2.2 Functional cookies (subject to consent)
They enable embedded third-party content: the Smart App Food menu and ordering/booking system, the maps and any virtual assistant (chatbot). Without your consent this content is not loaded.
2.3 Statistical/analytics cookies (subject to consent)
They collect information in aggregate form about the use of the site (pages viewed, duration of visits) to improve its content. They may be managed by third parties (e.g. Google Analytics).
2.4 Marketing/profiling cookies (subject to consent)
Used to show ads in line with your interests and measure the effectiveness of campaigns (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads).
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are installed by third parties acting as autonomous controllers. We invite you to consult their respective notices:
- Google (Analytics/Ads): policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta (Pixel): facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Smart App Food (menu, bookings and orders): see the notice available on the ordering platform.
4. Consent management
On your first visit you are shown a banner through which you can accept all, reject or customise the non-necessary cookie categories. All non-necessary scripts are blocked in advance until you give consent. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie preferences" button on the site, or manage/delete cookies from your browser settings.
5. Duration
Technical cookies have a session or otherwise limited duration. The cookie storing consent has a maximum duration of 6 months, after which consent is requested again. Third-party cookies follow the durations indicated in their respective notices.
